Barnett said she took buses to the District of Columbia for “our time in 1776” on January 6, 2021.

Calling it “our moment in 1776”, Barnett promised that those present at the rally would have their voices heard, according to unannounced comments from a time viewed by CNF’s KFile. In another interview before the rally, Barnett said she helped bring three buses to Washington.

Barnett, best known as a conservative political commentator who recently rose in polls for Tuesday’s GOP primary, has seen renewed interest in attending the rally after photos of her march to the Capitol began circulating on social media on Sunday. CNN’s KFile confirmed the videos. “You will see a bunch of angry patriots saying to themselves, ‘We don’t have that anymore,'” Barnett told radio host and conservative activist Ed Martin on January 5, 2021. “You’ll have to hear our voices.” And that’s why I’m so grateful that Americans aren’t turning over. Democrats are used to, you know, being noisy, whining, calling us names and then our side of the aisle, just turning over and pretending to be dead. I’m so proud that there are countless Americans who just say, no, we’re not turning over. We will not sleep. You will have to hear us. ”

“I believe most people realize that this is our moment from 1776,” she added later. “And I’m so thankful to God that we had a lot of people back then who weren’t fools, trifles and punks, and they faced some overwhelming chances. And right now, I think a lot of people are coming back to that, and by admitting that we’re not fools, petty or punk, we’re going to stand up to some – which seems like an insurmountable chance. And they will have to listen to our voices. ”

In a subsequently deleted tweet from the day before the Capitol riots, Barnett boasted of his upcoming rally presence. “Democrats are demons pulling … They look like fellow Americans,” she wrote. “But those Democrats who believe that the voices of MILLIONS of Americans should be forced, embarrassed and harassed to remain silent are carrying the agenda straight from the pit of hell. PERIOD #Resist #WildProtest # Jan6th #DCProtests. she was not involved in the destruction of property. In videos shared on social media by extremist researcher Chad Lauder, Barnett appears to be marching near the Capitol near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Constitution Avenue NW.

“Cathy was in the District of Columbia to support President Trump and hold him accountable for the election,” spokeswoman Bob Gillis told CNN. “Any allegation that she participated in or supported the destruction of property is intentionally false. She has nothing to do with the proud boys [sic]. There is no doubt that in 2020 there were unprecedented irregularities. America deserves transparency to restore faith in our system. ”

Barnett has repeatedly spread the lie that the results of the 2020 election were fraudulent, including in her own race for Congress, which she lost that same year. She campaigned with Pennsylvania Gov. Doug Magriano, a U.S. lawmaker and his colleague who is withdrawing from the election, who was also seen outside the Capitol on Jan. 6. He was summoned by a House of Representatives election commission investigating January 6th. CNN’s KFile previously reported that Barnett had a history of fanatical statements against Muslims and the LGBTQ community, and that it was falsely spreading the conspiracy that former President Barack Obama was a Muslim.
