The Prince of Wales will never again accept large monetary donations on behalf of his charities, a royal source said.
They added that Charles had not received large cash donations in the past five years.
Charles faced criticism this week afterwards The Sunday Times announced that he had been presented with a total of € 3 million in money from a former Qatari prime minister between 2011 and 2015.
The newspaper said he had personally accepted donations to his charity, the Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation (PWCF), from Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jaber al-Thani, who was Qatar’s prime minister from 2007 to 2013.
