Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend 2022 – live updates on Saturday

Crowds are already gathering for the long-awaited return of the Armed Forces’ annual weekend in Northeast Lincolnshire.

A number of exciting exhibitions and fun attractions will take place over the weekend. The huge event is free to visit and is known to attract about 20,000 visitors to Cleethorpes.

Central Cleethorpes and the coast are already bustling with a lot to see and do. The parade of veterans and standards at 12 o’clock will again be in the center on Saturday afternoon before the start of the main flight activity.

The Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, including the Lancaster bomber, will be among the eagerly awaited highlights. On Saturday night you will see live bands on the stage of the Memorial Gate, as well as a traditional sunset parade.

The evening will end with a 20-minute fireworks display set to music at 10.30 pm. This expanded exhibition will mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee year.
