EA will release a remake of the PlayStation 5 (both Xbox Series X | S and PC) of its Dead Space survival horror classic on January 27, 2023, it was confirmed. The project takes the original from 2008 and takes it into the modern era with better visualization and audio to achieve a “new level of immersion and quality” of the Frostbite engine. According to Venture Beat, the unveiling of the gameplay is scheduled for October, but the official press release does not mention this.
Along with today’s announcement was a live broadcast organized by the EA Motive development team, which covered the art of remake.
