The community was stunned after a woman was killed in a Co Down crash.
It happened on Newcastle Road, near Drumaness, outside Ballynahinch on Tuesday, May 24th.
Local MLA Katie Mason said: “The community is stunned after a tragic car accident.

“The death of a woman and the serious injury of two other passengers in a crash on Newcastle Road near Dramanes stunned the whole community.
“I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family of the woman who died and to the other severely injured in an accident near Dramanes.
“This tragedy has stunned the whole community, but everyone will come together to support all those affected in the difficult days ahead.
“I want to pay tribute to the emergency services for all their efforts at the scene.”
Slieve Croob adviser Alan Lewis added: “I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the woman who lost her life after the crash of A24 Newcastle Road in Drumaness this afternoon. [Tuesday]. I would like to commend the quick and effective response of the emergency services, which arrived quickly.
“The community is shocked, another death on our roads marks the third death on our roads through Newry Morne and Down, the thoughts and prayers of the community are with the family at this very difficult time.
The PSNI inspector Campbell said: “Employees, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance, received and responded to a collision alert at 3:30 p.m.
“The road remained closed for some time, but is now open again.
“Our investigations are ongoing and the Clashes Investigation Department is appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the clash or who has camera footage or other information to contact police on 101, citing reference number 877 24/05/22. ”
