In an exclusive report by Jamie Corrigan from the Daily Telegraph, the newspaper claims that Johnson, who turns 38 this month, has submitted his application at Wentworth’s headquarters.

Johnson confirmed this week that he has retired from the PGA Tour. Other current PGA Tour members who have not resigned are currently suspended.

Johnson’s move will draw attention to DP World Tour CEO Keith Pelly, who has so far remained silent on the situation.

Just today it was announced that DP World Tour will decide how to continue with the players of the PGA Tour, who will play at the Genesis Scottish Open in July.

As this event is jointly sanctioned by the PGA Tour, it puts DP World Tour in a strange position. Let the rebels play or join forces with Jay Monahan?

Equipment reviews

Monahan acted on Thursday afternoon just 30 minutes after Johnson, Phil Mickelson and the rest of the pitch hit the Centurion Club with teens. It has been confirmed that all current PGA Tour players playing in LIV Golf events are currently removed.

Future PGA Tour players who also play in the league will also face the same penalty, he said.

Bryson DeChambeau has finally reaffirmed his commitment to play in LIV Golf, starting with the second tournament of eight events in the $ 255 million series in Portland next month.

He was reportedly paid $ 100 million. Greg Norman described him as an “innovator.”

Just last week, a former US Open champion said jumping on a ship was too risky. His sponsors, Rocket Mortgage, have now abandoned him.

Ryder Cup Europe icons Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Graham McDowell are involved.

Garcia and McDowell gave up the PGA Tour. Poulter and Westwood are not.

Garcia et al have reportedly asked DP World Tour to retain their membership so that they can participate in the future Ryder Cups.

This would also mean that they can still play in tournaments, guaranteed to give them ranking points so that they can enter the big ones.

The behavior of American Johnson escalates in this saga.

PGA Tour pro Harold Warner III admitted after his first round of the RBC Canadian Open that things have now “become serious”.

Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, both playing in Canada this week, welcomed the bans.

It would be remarkable if DP World Tour decided to turn its back on the “strategic alliance” with the PGA Tour.

Corrigan’s report quoted an insider as saying, “The European tour must catch the nettle and allow all these boys to play, and it will survive.

“I don’t know the law, but Pelly and his board have a chance to embrace that.

“Johnson, Mickelson, Deschambo and all those like Westwood, Polts, Lewis, GMac and the sponsors will be happy.”

Johnson reportedly said he would play in LIV Golf events for the next four years.

Jamie Weir of Sky Sports quoted the American as saying he was “completely ready” for the PGA Tour.
