Congratulations to Ed Sheeran, who gave birth to a second child with his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
The singer logged in to his Instagram account to share a photo of a pair of baby boots on a knitted blanket, telling his fans: “I want to let you know that we have another beautiful girl.
“We are both so in love with her, and through the moon to be a family of four.”
The couple has not yet shared the name of their second girl, but if her older sister wants something, it will be a unique and beautiful nickname.
Ed, 31, and Cherry, 30, already have one-year-old daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, who was born in August 2020 and is now officially an older sister.
The couple, who were childhood friends, reunited in 2015 and married in 2019, welcoming their first child a year later.
In a similar way, Ed revealed the news of Lyra’s birth on social media, with the shoes lying on a blanket like the photo, writing: “Hello! Quick message from me, as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you …
“Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
“We are completely in love with her.”

“Both mother and baby are doing amazingly and we are in cloud nine here. We hope you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to go back, Ed H.
Ed recently spoke about the difficulties he and Cherry had to conceive with their first child, telling The Breakfast Club that they had finally conceived on a trip to Antarctica.
He explained: “We tried to have a child for a while and we started going to the doctors and finding out what was going on.
“I thought it was a miracle, so I told myself we should have it in our name.

“A lot of it is mental. It’s about relaxation. So many of my friends have tried different things like IVF or made sure you have sex at the right time on the right day and then go to a wedding and get annoyed and relax and get pregnant.
He added: “This is not a given. This is a real blessing when it happens.
Ed recently celebrated Cherry’s 30th birthday with a rare fluffy photo of the two lying together in a hammock.

Annoyed by the news, without anyone knowing, he captioned the photo: “HBD to ma baby mama. 30 suits you well.
