A government source told Global News that the federal government will soon announce that Canadians will no longer be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to board trains as well as domestic and international flights.
As of October 30, 2021, the federal government requires travelers to Canada to be fully vaccinated to travel by air or train.
Although Ottawa recently stopped randomized tests for COVID-19 at customs, other measures have come under fire from the tourism industry.
