A Florida man who was allegedly abducted at gunpoint after bragging online about a lot of money he made with his dog breeding business is driving chaotically to get police attention.
An unidentified man from Port St. Lucy, Florida, has been abducted in his own home by three men pretending to be potential dog buyers, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office in a Facebook post Friday.
Police continued to claim that when the trio arrived at the man’s home, they robbed and attacked him, demanding that he give them a large sum of money, which he claims he made. In what lawmakers described as a “dangerous saga” spanning nearly two days and multiple locations, the men forced the victim to drive through Martin County to another location when police noticed his traffic violation.
“Fortunately, at the same time, our traveling criminals response team was on patrol to monitor the highways,” police said. “When the victim, who was forced to drive the vehicle, saw the deputy, he deliberately committed a traffic offense in the hope of being stopped. It worked.”

When he was stopped, the alleged victim was too frightened to tell officers that he had been abducted, but officers noted “a look of despair when the deputy warned him and began sending him on his way.”
The driver then moved his hand to indicate that the other three men in the car were dangerous to him, which officers noticed before ordering the man to get out of the car.
