Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at a rally in front of Quincy, Illinois on Saturday.
Trump will face Republican Mary Miller in the Illinois congressional primary against fellow Republican Rodney Davis.
Miller is a representative for the first term in the 15th Illinois Convention District, which has been drastically redrawn in the redistribution process once a decade. Davis, who has represented the neighboring 13th County for a decade, is vying against Miller for the new, bright red spot in the central part of the state, which contains large parts of his current county.
Trump backed Miller ahead of Tuesday’s primary, which she said was “huge” for her campaign.
