Arsenal agents are heading for Gabriel Jesus to travel to England in an attempt to complete his transfer from Manchester City.
The Premier League champions are asking £ 50m for Jesus as they want their money back to offset the cost of Calvin Phillips of Leeds United and Mark Kukurella of Brighton.
Jesus has spent the last five years at Etihad Stadium, but looks set to leave this summer after choosing not to renew his contract, which expires next year.

Arsenal’s initial offer of £ 35 million plus supplements was rejected last week, but a new offer may now follow, with Jesus’ representatives arriving in the UK.
The Gunners also had positive discussions about Leeds United winger Rafinha with his agent Deco, as his favorite club, Barcelona, is struggling to come up with a price of £ 60 million.
Rafinha finished last season as Leeds’ top scorer in all 11 tournaments and appears ready to leave Eland Road in the current transfer window.

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Omar Rekick has joined Sparta Rotterdam on loan for the season.
The 20-year-old moved to North London in January 2021, but has yet to play for Mikel Arteta.
He has played regularly for the club’s 23-year-old term, and has now been hired to gain experience in the Eredivisie before being able to play in the World Cup later this year for Tunisia.
