Georgia’s defensive ending, Travon Walker, went from a distant chance to a consensus favorite to be No. 1 overall in the NFL draft this week in bookmakers across the country.
Walker, who wasn’t even on the list when some bookmakers set the odds for which player to be number one, overtook Aidan Hutchinson of Michigan late Sunday and now sits at the top of the book’s odds. Hutchinson has been a clear favorite since early March.
Walker’s odds rose from +150 to -200 on Sunday night in the Caesars Sportsbook, with Hutchinson falling from -170 to +160.
