Phoebe Bridgers fucking says Supreme Court in Glastonbury 2022
The Glastonbury 2022 Festival is underway, with music fans from around the world flocking to Worthy Farm in Somerset, England.
This year’s festival is led by Gen-Z pop star Billy Isle, Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and American rapper Kendrick Lamar, and Diana Ross takes over the traditional Legends slot.
On Friday, June 24, McCartney played a pre-festival concert in Somerset tonight, with tickets for the show with a capacity of 800 people sold out in less than an hour.
Over on The Other Stage, the rock band Libertines started a lawsuit after a powerful speech on the screen of Ukrainian President Zelensky.
Wolf Alice, after harassing fans by announcing that their flight from LA had been canceled, was able to reach the UK to complete his Pyramid Stage set this afternoon.
There is a sense of gloom among the American contingent due to the devastating decision of the Supreme Court Rowe against Wade. Artists, including Phoebe Bridgers and British rock band IDLES, are among the acts condemning the decision so far.
Then came the moment we had been waiting for, Billy Isle’s historic set as the youngest artist to lead the Pyramid Stage solo.

Following Billy Aishish’s historic title on Friday, Sir Paul McCartney will take to the stage of the pyramid for an epic, two-hour and 15-minute set on Saturday.
The former Beatle is expected to take the stage at 9.30 pm and play until 11.45 pm.
His set will continue from Noel Gallagher, Haim and AJ Tracey’s High Flying Birds.

ICYMI: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addresses the crowd in Glastonbury
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on visitors to the Glastonbury festival to help “spread the truth about Russia’s war” against the Eastern European nation in a virtual address on Friday (June 24th).
Noting that Glastonbury had returned to Worthy’s farm after a two-year hiatus caused by Covid, he said: “We in Ukraine would also like to live life as before and enjoy freedom and this wonderful summer. But we can’t do that because the worst has happened – Russia has stolen our peace.
“But we will not allow Russia’s war to break us,” Zelensky continued, adding: “And we will want to stop the war before it ruins the lives of people in other countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America – all they are endangered now ”
Addressing “the greatest concentration of freedom these days,” Zelensky said: “Spread the truth about the Russian war. Help the Ukrainians who are forced to leave their homes because of their war. Find our United24 charity platform and put pressure on all the politicians you know to help restore peace in Ukraine.
“Time is priceless and everything is measured in human lives,” he concluded, adding: “The more people join us in defending freedom and truth, the sooner Russia’s war against Ukraine will end.”

Review by Billy Isle, Glastonbury 2022: The storytelling set is a 90-minute noir-pop catharsis
Five stars for Billy Isle and her 90-minute stage in Glastonbury on Friday night.
In a way, Ailish’s historical set of titles is just as important as Jay-Z’s or Stormzy’s. Not because she is the youngest account holder at the festival, although she certainly raises the roof of every bedroom of Tik-Tokker’s teenage dreams of fame.
But because it marks the rise of alternative pop: a home-made, personalized imitation of the mainstream that speaks much closer to the actual teenage experience of 2022. Certainly more than any amount of overconfident, oversexual separation written by long-toothed Swedish production teams. .
Alternative pop tones are dark and gloomy, his emotions are harsh and shattered, his fears are doomed. Fame is created with uncertainty, sex is pathetic, and drugs, when mentioned, are usually prescribed for anxiety.
