Glenmore opens after a crash

Drivers say Glenmore Road is now open for traffic at the crash site.

The British Columbia Emergency Medical Service says three ground paramedic teams responded to the scene this morning.
Three people were taken to hospital in an uncritical condition.

Glenmore Road is closed to local traffic just off Slater Road as police investigate the crash this morning.
An RCMP statement said the preliminary investigation found that a gray Nissan Versa was traveling south on Glenmore Road when it passed a water truck before losing control and crossing into the northern lane, colliding with a white Subaru Crosstrek.
The lone drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The RCMP’s Regional Disaster Analysis Unit is assisting Kelowna’s traffic officers in the investigation.
Police are asking all drivers to avoid the Glenmore area while officers work.
If anyone has been driving on Glenmore Road North and may have witnessed the gray Nissan Versa before the collision, or if anyone has a video of the dashboard, please call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.

Traffic on Glenmore Road is being maintained due to a rollover accident.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash north of the Slater Road intersection.
The extent of the injuries is currently unknown.
Drivers should expect delays when traveling in the area.
