A 31-year-old man died after being stabbed in downtown Hounslow, West London. Police were called to Staines Road at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, following reports of a “seriously injured man.”
The man, confirmed by police as Karamjeet Singh Reel from Hounslow, was described by colleagues as a “popular, kind, gentle and real” man. Right Tiles, where the victim is believed to have worked, turned to social media and GoFundMe to share the first photos of the victim, who unfortunately died on June 25.
Police officers met and the London ambulance arrived at the scene and found a man with “knife wounds”. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead on the spot. The victim’s family has been notified and a pathological examination will be performed to officially identify the man.
Chief Detective James Shirley, a crime specialist, said: “Our investigation is ongoing to uncover the events that led to Karamjit’s murder. As we progress, we still need to talk to anyone who was in the Staines Road area of Hounslow in the early hours of Saturday, June 25, and saw the events that led to Karamjit’s attack.
“I would ask anyone who has information, no matter how insignificant you think, to contact my employees – it can be a crucial part of the bigger picture that allows us to identify who is responsible.
The cordon remains in place and a forensic tent is erected in front of The Moon Under Water Wetherspoons on Staines Road. A tribute was paid to the man and flowers were laid at the place where he died.
No arrests were made and police called on people who were in the area at the time of the incident to be called out with eyewitness accounts, photos and videos. Drivers are also asked to present footage from a dashboard.
A special autopsy was performed at the morgue in Uxbridge on Saturday, June 25, which caused the death as a stab wound.
