• After splitting the first two games in Calgary, the Stars hosted the Flames in Games 3 and 4 at the American Airlines Center.
• The Stars won 2-0 in Match 2 on Thursday night in Calgary with goals from Joe Pavelski and Michael Raffle. Tyler Seguin, Jason Robertson and Gianni Hakanpaa scored assists while Jake Oettinger won his first career suspension of the season (29 saves).
• The Stars franchise holds a 5-1 record against Calgary in the postseason and has a perfect 3-0 rating on home ice.
• During the playoff series in 2020, Dallas amassed a three-goal deficit in the first period of Game 6 and recorded the next seven goals to record a serious 7-3 victory and advance to the second round of the Western Conference in 2020. vs. Colorado Avalanche.
• The stars won both playoff series against the Flames, most recently winning the 4-2 series during the first round of the 2020 Western Conference in Edmonton.

Only four goalkeepers in the history of Stars / North Stars have published longer sessions in the playoffs: Turco (167: 05 in 2007), Belfour (4x; longest: 164: 35 in 2000), Cesare Maniago 138: 57 in 1973 with the North Stars) and John Casey (120: 49 in 1991 with the North Stars).
• He also equaled Giles Melosh (16-17 April 1980 against Montreal) for the fewest goals conceded by a goalkeeper in the history of the franchise in his first two playoff starts with the club.
• In Game 1, he stopped 25 of 26 shots, passing his only goal of the night in power play.
• During the playoffs for the Stanley Cup in 2022, he led the NHL with an average of 0.50 goals and 0.982 percent of the save and was tied for first in the playoffs (1).
