January 6 Hearings – Live: Trump Tunes Up His Daughter Ivanka While NY Post Publishes Sharp Editorial

Liz Cheney tells Republicans defending the rebels: “When Trump is gone, your dishonor will remain.”

The first hearing of the House of Representatives election committee on January 6 ended after two hours of testimony Thursday after bomb revelations by representatives Benny Thompson and Liz Cheney.

Former President Donald Trump has expressed anger after the commission released excerpts from interviews with former Attorney General Bill Barr, daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Mr Trump called Mr Bar “weak” and “cowardly” after telling the committee that Mr Trump’s false allegations of stolen elections were “bulls ***”.

Ms. Trump, one of her father’s most trusted advisers, also said she did not think the 2020 election was stolen and respected Bar. Her father objected that she “unsubscribed” before the 2020 elections and behaved respectfully towards Bar.

In her opening remarks, GOP MP Ms. Cheney noted that a number of her party had asked for pardon from Mr Trump for his participation in attempts to annul the election: the day has come when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain. ”

About 20 million Americans joined in to watch the rating show – the equivalent of Sunday Night Football audiences. This figure does not include streaming services.

Haniti insanely claims that January 6 hearing makes Trump “look good”

ICYMI: Sean Hannity made a surprising analysis of Thursday’s prime-time hearing, organized by a select committee investigating Jan. 6 after it ended.

Donald Trump’s longtime ally said during the show that the former president has left the event, which showed unprecedentedly fascinating footage of rebels viciously attacking law enforcement officials and hitting windows looking “good.”

This is despite the fact that the deputies in the panel clearly stated that the former president did nothing during the attack to deploy the support of law enforcement agencies on the Hill.

The Wisconsin judge found the Republican election investigator disrespectful

ICYMI: A Wisconsin judge on Friday found a Republican investigator hired to investigate the loss of former President Donald Trump in 2020 on a battlefield, in contempt for the way his office responded to requests to find records related to the investigation.

The ruling against the service, led by Michael Gableman, a former Wisconsin Supreme Court judge who briefly worked for Trump, came after Gableman rebuked the judge and refused to answer any questions on the witness stand. Gableman did not want to testify, but Dane County Judge Frank Remington ordered him to appear.

Remington did not announce an immediate sentence in court on Friday, saying he would provide it in a written decision.
