Yazmin Oukelu has revealed she is plagued by nightmares after the horrific car crash in Turkey earlier this month that killed her boyfriend Jake McLean.
The 28-year-old TOWIE star suffered serious injuries to her arm in the crash, which happened in the early hours of Sunday July 3, with doctors telling Yazmin it was a “miracle” she was still alive.
The star is now recovering at home in Essex, but said she struggles with flashbacks after the accident and that her mum Lisa stays at her bedside every night.

Speaking to The Sun, an emotional Yazmin said: “I’ve had nightmares every night since the accident.”
She added: “I haven’t stopped waking up at night about it. Mom stays in bed with me every night.
The revelation comes after Yazmin told the publication on Sunday that she will be forced to live with the trauma of the incident forever.

A traumatized Jasmine told how she struggled to understand how she survived the crash and Jake didn’t, with medics telling her she was an “angel” as people were unlikely to survive at the “infamous” crash site.
“I severed an artery and a nerve, that’s why I bled so much,” she said. “Now I’m just wondering how the hell my partner died while I survived? It made me look at life in a completely different way.
As well as therapy, Yazmin may also need plastic surgery as she has been left with “permanent scarring”, with UK doctors warning she may never have full use of her right arm again.

The TV personality deliberately broke her trapped arm to escape the crash and rush for help – as Jake lay unconscious.
As she continues to recover from the horrific experience, Yazmin told how her emotions are “very up and down” as she grieves the loss of Jake.
She detailed how she had lost relatives in the past, including her beloved Nan last year, but none she loved in an “intimate way”, admitting it was “very difficult”.
During her recovery, Yazmin is not logged into “social settings” and will not log into social media until she has also changed her phone number.

She stressed that her “focus” is just to get well again and deal with what happened to her and Jake, adding that her best friend is the only person she’s ever had “love like that” for.
The beauty also said the ordeal “will stay with me for life”, before noting that she loved Jake, who she traveled the world with, to be with “so much”.
After the crash, Yazmin was forced to break her arm to escape the car and seek help, admitting she had “no choice” but to take the drastic action.
At the time, Yazmin didn’t realize she had opened an artery, but revealed she was covered in blood as she lay upside down in the car.

Jasmine said she was convinced Jake was still alive when she ran to the top of the overturned bank and called for help.
Luckily a man walking his dog found her instantly and rushed to the car to help, but unfortunately it was too late as Yazmin said she couldn’t feel Jake’s pulse.
Yazmin said the grief and shock left her needing therapy and she hasn’t left her mother Lisa’s side since the incident.
The reality star also confirmed the pair are currently off the road, but she flew to Turkey in the hope they can reconcile and recalled how the trip made things “perfect” between them.
The TV presenter was on holiday with Jake in the resort of Bodrum, where the horrific incident took place.

Jake and Yazmin were riding in a blue Mercedes E class sedan on a windy, mountain road between the coastal town of Bodrum and the coastal town of Yalikavak as they returned from a night out.
The crash happened around 4.30am and investigators found the car had gone about 70ft over a left-hand bend and landed in a ravine almost 30ft below.
Jake was pronounced dead at the scene while Yazmin was rushed to hospital where she received treatment for her injured arm.
After the crash, she climbed through thick thorn bushes to stop a passing driver for help.

A source told MailOnline last week that Yazmin has been left heartbroken: ‘Yaz can’t feel any relief because her heart is torn in two by Jake’s death.
“She still can’t come to terms with what happened.”
Jake, 33, who previously dated former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, was driving at the time of the crash.
Yazmin was seriously injured but crawled away from the wreckage to get help.
Her mother flew to support her daughter during her recovery at Acibadem Hospital in Bodrum in the days after the crash, before returning her home.

Meanwhile, MailOnline understands that Yazmin could face a police test in the coming days amid reports of the moments leading up to the crash.
She was reportedly fighting with Jake yesterday when their car crashed.
The claims were made by his mother, Anita Walsh, who expressed her concerns to prosecutors investigating the crash that killed her son in Bodrum, Turkey.
Anita told prosecutors that Jake would not have lost control of the car when it went off a curve on a mountain road because of his driving skills.

An assistant public prosecutor, who cannot be named under Turkish law, told MailOnline on July 6: ‘We spoke to Jake’s mum and she told us there was something going on in the car which was distracting him.
“She does not believe this accident was caused by his bad driving. She said he was a very skilled and experienced driver and would not have lost control of the car in this manner.

Jake and Jasmine are believed to have gotten together in May last year before she revealed their relationship on Instagram in December in a clip which showed the pair kissing.
But she broke up with him just a month later after he was reportedly caught acting single while on holiday in Dubai and leaving a club alone with Love Island ex Ellie Jones.
The couple were still thought to be separated when Sunday’s crash happened. Friends say they are not sure what the two were doing together in Turkey, but they may have been there to sign some kind of business deal.
A source told MailOnline: ‘It is a complete tragedy and a complete loss of life. Everyone is in shock and hoping Yazmin makes a full recovery.
