Jennifer Hudson achieved EGOT status at the Tony Awards

Jennifer Hudson was crowned winner of the EGOT at the 75th Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday.

The singer and actress won for her work as a producer on the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Strange Loop, written by Michael R. Jackson, who follows a black gay man trying to write a musical while struggling with identity – which was crowned for Best Musical.
