Blue Hills RCMP have confirmed the identity of a body found in the Assiniboine River in Brandon.
Jordan Ross, 41, was reported missing on June 17, prompting a search effort involving RCMP Search and Rescue, the Hutterian Emergency Response Team, the Fire Commissioner’s Office and a coordinated volunteer search team.
On June 30, the Brandon Police Service and Brandon RCMP officers responded to reports of a body found in the Assiniboine River near Dinsdale Park.
On July 12, the body was confirmed to be Ross. In a statement, the RCMP said no foul play is suspected in his death.
