Kamloops RCMP are searching for missing boys ages 11 and 13

Mounties in Kamloops are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing children who they believe are in the company of a non-custodial parent and her partner.

Kamloops RCMP believe William and Mark Mochrie — ages 11 and 13, respectively — were picked up by Kristen Mochrie on July 8 for an “unscheduled visit,” the troop said in a news release Wednesday.

The boys have been missing since that date and are believed to be traveling with Kristen Mochi and her partner Corey Battilana.

“Their whereabouts are unknown at this time,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, spokeswoman for Kamloops RCMP, in the release.

“Police and family are concerned for the welfare of the boys, who are currently believed to be missing.”

The Mounties listed several potential destinations for the quartet to head to, including Barriere, 100 Mile House, Lillooet and Edmonton.

The group is believed to be traveling in one of two vehicles, either a red 1997 two-door Honda Civic with BC license plate LR520R or a blue 2017 five-door Hyundai Santa Fe with BC license plate KE920K .

Police describe William Mokry as an 11-year-old boy with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 4’7″ tall and weighs 71 pounds.

His brother Mark Mochi is 13 and also has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet tall and weighs 141 pounds, police said.

According to police, Kristen Mochi may also go by Barava, who they describe as a 37-year-old woman with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5’2″ tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Police provided photos of all four individuals with the news release. In her photo, Battilana has a large tattoo on the left side of her neck.
