Kanye West ‘mourns’ Pete Davidson as he reacts to Kim Kardashian split

Kanye West reacts to the split between his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and his friend Pete Davidson.

West, who is now officially known as Ye, posted a fake New York Times front page on his Instagram account on Monday morning (August 8).

Kardashian and Davidson reportedly called it quits after nine months of dating due to long-distance work commitments and busy schedules.

The first page West posted read: “Skeet Davidson dead at 28.”

The smaller text below the headline reads: “Cudi kid wanted to play at funeral but is afraid of bottle throwers.”

West famously called Davidson a Scat during his feud with the comedian earlier this year, which led to the rapper releasing an animated video in which he buried Davidson alive for his song “Eazy.”

Kardashian then called her ex-husband’s behavior “scary,” prompting the rapper to apologize for some of his social media posts.

Fans were quick to react to the front page, which is West’s only Instagram post on his page.

One person wrote: “The bottom caption [is] unnecessary,” along with a skeleton emoticon.

Another person said: “LMAO you need to chill brozay [sic].”

“And just like that… he’s back,” one person said, while another added: “The bottom of the paper made me weak.”

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February of last year and she was declared legally single in March of this year. The couple share four children, North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two.
