Sir Keir Starmer is planning his own succession and has told candidates vying to replace him to be prepared to fight for leadership if he is forced to resign over allegations he has broken Covid’s rules.
The Labor leader told the Allies that he wanted plans to ensure that his work to restore the party would not be jeopardized if he were suddenly forced to resign. He has vowed to leave if police in Durham find that he violated blocking rules while drinking beer and curry with staff after a day of local election campaign on April 30th last year.
