Kevin de Bruyne makes a “crazy” statement about Liverpool after Man City beat the Wolves

Kevin de Bruyne showed his respect for Liverpool after his appearance as a player in the match in the victory of Manchester City with 5-1 as a guest against the Wolves on Wednesday night.

The Belgian midfielder scored four times as Pep Guardiola’s team came one step closer to the Premier League title, with Liverpool now relying on West Ham and Aston Villa to upset City in their remaining two games in the 2021 campaign. / 22.

Just like in the 2018/19 season, both City and Liverpool showed levels of consistency far above the rest of the division as they fought for glory in the top class again. It now seems unlikely that the Blues will lose the league from this position, although it was a valiant effort by Jurgen Klopp’s men.

“They are [Liverpool] played everything until the end of the season. We know how difficult it is and I think that both teams have great respect. We play hard, that’s the only thing we can do.

“Now we have to prepare for West Ham and it will not be an easy match. We will try to go there and win the match. Whatever happens, we will see.”

Liverpool are three points behind the league leaders, although the Blues can boast a superb goal difference of seven. The Reds have been leading the last division for most of this term, although City have managed to maintain that with kind assistance, scoring 14 times in their last three outings.
