Kylie Jenner has hit back after being accused of bypassing “proper sanitation protocols” while in Milan, Italy, testing products for her Kylie Cosmetics beauty line.
Kevin James Bennett, a cosmetics developer, took to Instagram on Thursday to publicly call Jenner out for not following protocols. The socialite initially uploaded several photos of herself in a white coat, without gloves or a hair net, mixing different makeup products.
“I’m a cosmetic developer and I work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job,” he wrote in his lengthy caption. “I have very short hair and have NEVER been allowed in the lab or on the production floor without a hairnet, shoe covers, mask… and disposable GLOVES.”

He continued: “Kylie makes her followers think she’s creating cosmetics. And I would like to know which ignorant manufacturer (in Italy) allowed her to take this photo in their lab and on the production floor – without following proper sanitation protocols. I need the name because I want to make sure my clients NEVER work with them.”

Bennett ended her caption by saying she was trying to “protect” potential Kylie Cosmetic customers. His post received a response from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
“Kevin — this photo was not taken in a production facility,” Jenner began. “I would never bypass sanitation protocols and neither would any other celebrity or beauty brand owner. this is completely unacceptable, I agree.’

She continued, “it’s a little personal space creating my own fun swatches and taking pictures for content that isn’t anywhere near mass produced. no one puts customers at risk!”
“shame on you Kevin for spreading false information!!!!” she concluded.

Jenner’s response didn’t stop Bennett from continuing her accusations against the social media personality. He went on to accuse her of “trampling” her fans.
“Oh, were you there Kevin? Ugh, now I have to change my dogs name,” she replied to his comment.

Jenner has several Italian Greyhounds, with her latest addition to her family being “Kevin” in February of last year.

Scott’s friend founded Kylie Cosmetics in 2015. Since launching the makeup brand, Jenner has created several collaborations with her sisters and earned millions of dollars.
Kylie Cosmetics is credited with making the 25-year-old the first billionaire in the Kardashian family.
