- Cities include Toledo, Ohio; Islip, New York; Ithaca, New York, and Dubuque, Iowa, which will lose service to American Airlines on Sept. 7, after Labor Day.
- “We will actively contact customers scheduled to travel after this date to offer alternative arrangements,” the report quoted American Airlines as saying.

- American Airlines said flights to other airports between 45 and 120 miles would continue to serve the seats.
