what you should Know
- OnePlus 10T should be launched soon.
- A credible leaker has shared some renders of the alleged device.
- It looks pretty much identical to the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship.
Rumors of a possible OnePlus 10T smartphone have been circulating for the past few weeks. The alleged device had no predecessor because OnePlus chose to skip it last year. However, a new leak confirms that the OnePlus 10T is in development and shows its official-looking renders.

The leak comes from reliable whistleblower Steve H. McFly, commonly known as OnLeaks, in collaboration with Smartprix. The alleged device looks identical to the OnePlus 10 Pro launched earlier this year. Except there are minor changes when it comes to design. While showcasing a 360-degree video of the alleged render, the report also shows the differences between the flagship and the OnePlus 10T.
The 10T may see a slight change in the design of the rear camera module. In the OnePlus 10 Pro, we have a triple camera system with an LED flash that is disguised as a camera sensor, for aesthetics. The new renders suggest that the OnePlus 10T will also have it, but the camera positioning may change. The module will look slightly raised from the back of the body and frame, instead of sitting flat from the flagship.

Another thing to notice in these renders is the Hesselbrand branding, which is nowhere to be seen. It’s unclear whether the device will retain the collaboration, but it seems unlikely.
On the front, unlike the flagship model that had a curved screen, the alleged OnePlus 10T embraces a flat screen, which seems to be a welcome change for users who hate curved screen edges. Also, the OnePlus 10T’s punch notch on the screen probably seems to have moved to the center, a slight difference from the OnePlus 10 Pro featured in the upper left corner.
The other significant change is the choice of a plastic chassis on the OnePlus 10T instead of a metal one on the OnePlus 10 Pro. Unlike the latter, OnePlus seems to be omitting the alert slider on the 10T or moving it to the other side. Additionally, the report shows two colors of the alleged 10T, possibly including a green shade and a conventional black variant.

Aside from the renders, the OnePlus 10T is expected to run on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The device is said to sport a 6.7-inch LTPO E4 AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. In terms of optics, we can expect a 50MP primary rear camera up to a 16MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. Up front, the OnePlus 10T relies on a 32MP selfie sensor.
Finally, the device is expected to draw power from a 4,800mAh battery supporting 150W fast charging, which we witnessed in the recent OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Ace.
OnePlus has not shared specific details about the upcoming launch of its devices. However, several reports are still appearing on the web, one of which hints at a possible launch of the OnePlus 10. The other showed a new leak that details the camera specifications of a new OnePlus 10RT device. There’s another new OnePlus 10 Ultra model to specify. Not to forget, the OnePlus Fold is the first foldable smartphone expected to ship with Android 13.
However, OnePlus had a great start this year with the launch of its flagship OnePlus 10 Pro. It instantly became one of the best Android phones released this year. Following the launch of the OnePlus 9RT in select regions, the same goes for devices like the OnePlus Nord CE 2 and the OnePlus Nord N20 5G.
