People were evacuated from their homes after the discovery of a “possible explosive device” in a property in Salford, police said. The potential device was found at the home of Neville Drive in Irlam during an attack in connection with the attack on Monday (June 13), GMP added.
Police and a bomb disposal team are on site. A cordon was erected and residents were evacuated as a “precautionary measure”.
A GMP spokesman said: “Officers were present at Neville Drive, Irlam this morning (June 13, 2022) to carry out an attack order.

“When the address appeared, the officers found a possible explosive device. The EOD is currently on track to evaluate the device.
“As a precautionary measure, a cordon of 100 meters was set up around the property, and the neighboring properties were evacuated.”
