The main road is closed in both directions due to a police incident at night.
Everton Road and Heyworth Street in Everton were sealed by police shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 22. The closure remains in effect for more than eight hours between Cresswell Street to Lloyd Close.
The traffic monitoring site Inrix said: “A580 Heyworth Street and Everton Road in both directions closed due to a police incident between Creswell Street and Lloyd Close. The traffic is doing well. ”
