Bayern Munich made a second attempt to attract Sadio Mane, but again saw their efforts flatly rejected by Liverpool.
Permanent German champions are determined to sign with Manet, who was such a huge figure for Liverpool last season, and the initial offer of £ 25 million was rejected over the weekend.
Bayern have returned with a new figure of £ 30 million, including supplements, but this is not in Liverpool’s interest.

The Senegalese star is fighting for the Golden Ball and Liverpool wants a fair price
It is believed that the requirements for these additions, which must be triggered, include Bayern to lift the Champions League and Manet to win the Ballon d’Or in the next three seasons – both of which Liverpool considers unlikely.
Liverpool want closer to 42.5 million pounds for the 30-year-old Manet, which he will invest in exchange.
Manet has 12 months left to complete his current deal and hinted that his future is elsewhere.
At a press conference last week, the striker forgot to leave Anfield to reassure fans in his homeland.
Manet dropped a bomb after the Champions League final, announcing he wanted to give up
“I respect the fans and the team, but 60 to 70 percent of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do whatever they want, “Manet added, before later insisting that it was all a bit of humor.
But Sportsmail has revealed that Manet has already asked his Liverpool team-mate Thiago if he can move into his Munich home if he joins Bayern this summer, questioning his future.
Bayern president Herbert Heiner discussed Mane’s possible acquisition, telling the German newspaper BILD: “If we really want a player, we can get one. But he has to suit us.

Luis Diaz broke well on the left flank for the Reds, but Liverpool still want a striker to come in if Manet leaves.
As Sportsmail reported earlier on Wednesday, Liverpool have targeted Darwin Nunes to be the new striker to set Anfield on fire and are ready to break their transfer record to sign it.
The Uruguayan international is one of the rising stars in world football and is also wanted by Atletico Madrid and Manchester United, but Liverpool are determined to sign Nunes with a deal that could reach £ 85 million.
Julian Ward, Liverpool’s new sporting director, is in talks with Benfica and it is understood that Nunes wants to move to Merseyside.
If Liverpool manage to complete the transfer, it would be a massive statement of intent.
Nunes, who can play both on the left and in the middle, scored six goals in the Champions League last season, two of which were in the quarter-finals against Liverpool, and made a significant impression on Jurgen Klopp.
