Liverpool fans reacted after the collapse of the Champions League in Man City
Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League 2021-22 after dramatic semi-final draws.
After the Reds overcame their fears against Villarreal to win 5-2, it was the turn of Manchester City and Madrid on Wednesday, with the Premier League team holding a 4-3 lead after the first match.
City also appeared on the course for the final, as Riyad Marez’s shot gave them two goals. However, Los Blancos started a remarkably late return, as two goals by Rodrigo after the 90th minute led the match to extra time before the penalty of Karim Benzema pushed the team of Carlo Ancelotti.
The final will be a repeat of the 2018 show between Liverpool and Real, which was won 3-1 by the latter after two goals by Gareth Bale and a goalkeeper collapse by Loris Carius.
However, the current version of Liverpool is a different proposal and they will be favorites when the two teams face each other in Paris.
Liverpool fans were naturally attached to the action, many stunned by the recent return of Madrid and the remarkable collapse of City.
