Everything you need to know about Darwin Nunes as Liverpool is close to a deal
With the 2022 summer transfer window only open for a short time, Liverpool seem to have probably already completed one of the biggest deals on the market.
The Reds have secured a transfer that could potentially be a record for the club to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunes. The Uruguayan signed a six-year contract with the Merseyside team.
However, the business is unlikely to end there, as a number of players remain connected to follow Nunes through the door, while it is rumored that some of Jurgen Klopp’s team are about to leave.
With all this in mind, check out the latest transfer news and rumors coming out of Anfield on Thursday morning.

Liverpool made an offer with big money to Bellingham
Although the Reds have paid a significant amount for Nunes, they are apparently trying to follow suit with an offer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. According to Cadena Ser, Liverpool has offered 100 million euros (85.7 million pounds) for the English star in an attempt to provide his services.
Although there is a strong interest in Bellingham, it seems unlikely that they will be able to provide his services at least this time. According to reports, Real Madrid is fighting hard for the former Birmingham City player, while Dortmund is determined not to sell this summer, after already allowing the star striker Erling Haaland to join Manchester City.

Sadio Mane agrees to the personal terms with Bayern Munich
And because Liverpool say they are trying to attract Bellingham from the Bundesliga, one of their current harvests could make the opposite change. Sadio Mane has already expressed his desire to leave Anfield this summer, with only one year left in his deal.
Bayern Munich have emerged as the main candidates to sign him, and according to Fabrizio Romano, he has agreed “personal terms” with the German giants before moving to the Allianz Arena. This simply leaves the two clubs to agree on a fee for Manet’s signature.

The Reds urged Eriksen to move
Liverpool’s cult hero Jose Enrique has called on the Reds to make a move for Christian Eriksen this summer as a short-term solution to the midfield puzzle. On Instagram, the Spaniard said: “[Eriksen is] Another interesting player who could be our solution for our midfield. ”
He continued: “And he doesn’t spend anything because he’s a free agent. He’s a short-term decision, but then we can wait for Bellingham next season.”
Eriksen is, of course, available this summer after leaving Brentford, but he has reportedly offered new terms from the Bees, as well as Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
