Liz Cheney said Trump had a “seven-part plan” to cancel the election. Here’s what she means

“On the morning of Jan. 6, President Donald Trump intended to remain president of the United States, despite the legitimate outcome of the 2020 election and in violation of his constitutional obligation to relinquish power,” said Cheney, a Wyoming Republican. introductory statement at the prime time hearing on Thursday.

2. President Trump corruptly plans to replace the acting attorney general so that the Justice Department can support his false allegations of elections.
3. President Trump has corruptly pressured Vice President Pence to refuse to count certified votes in violation of US Constitution and law.
4. President Trump corrupt pressure on state election officials and state lawmakers to change election results.
5. President Trump’s legal team and other Trump aides have instructed Republicans in many states to create fake ballots and hand them over to Congress and the National Archives.
6. President Trump convened and gathered a violent mob in Washington and directed them to march to the US Capitol.
7. As the violence escalated, President Trump ignored numerous requests for help and failed to take immediate action to stop the violence and instruct his supporters to leave the Capitol.

These are initial findings and the investigation of the selected committee is still ongoing.
