London police are investigating a crash in south London on Friday that killed a pedestrian.
Emergency crews responded to the crash in the area of Wellington and Southdale roads around 5:20 p.m., police said Friday evening.
An elderly man died at the scene, police said.
Details about his identity, what type of vehicle was involved in the crash and where it happened have not been released.
Members of the Traffic Management Unit are investigating and more information will be released as it becomes available, police said.
