Republican MP calls Supreme Court ruling to overturn nationwide abortion right nearly 50 years ago Rowe vs. Wade A “victory for the lives of whites” that was greeted with applause by crowds at a rally held by former President Donald Trump.
“President Trump, on behalf of all MAGA patriots in America, I want to thank you for the historic victory for white lives in the Supreme Court yesterday,” MP Mary E. Miller (R) said at a rally in Mendon, Ilion on Saturday night. on Trump’s previous election campaign, “Make America Great Again.”
She clapped her hands as spectators, some hand-held Red Save America posters, also began to clap.
Her remark drew widespread condemnation on social media, and Miller’s team quickly issued an explanation for what it considered a “mix of words.”

Miller’s spokeswoman, Isaiah Wortman, told the Associated Press that the Illinois Republican had misread her speech and should have declared the separation court a “right to life.”
“You can clearly see in the video … she’s looking at her documents and she’s looking at her speech,” Wortman said.
Trump – who backed Miller against Republican Rodney Davis after Democrats redeployed them – hosted the rally ahead of Tuesday’s highly contested state primary.

“I present this statement to GOP spokeswoman Mary Miller on the lives of whites for your information,” wrote spokesman Ted Lee (D-California).
Others said many in the crowd seemed unafraid of Miller’s comment. “Whether it was a pass or not, the audience heard a ‘white life’ and didn’t flinch. They applauded, “tweeted columnist Ahmed Baba, who writes for the Independent.
Miller’s comments also provoked a reaction outside the United States. “Never accept that liberal democracy is the default, that the progress made is in the bank and does not need constant violent protection,” tweeted British MP Jess Phillips, a member of the main opposition Labor Party.

On Friday, Miller hailed the Supreme Court ruling as a “joyous victory.” She said Rowe vs. Wade has “caused indescribable damage to our country” and accused the “cruel abortion industry” of deceiving the Americans. She thanked Trump for helping overturn deer by “appointing judges of the Supreme Court who value life.”
Trump, who promised to appoint anti-deer Judges, nominated Neil M. Gorsuch, Brett M. Cavanaugh and Amy Connie Barrett, who were part of the 5 to 4 vote to overturn the 1973 decision, along with Judges Samuel A. Alito Jr. and Clarence Thomas.

This is not the first time Miller has been checked for comments in her speeches. Last year, she was forced to apologize after quoting Adolf Hitler at the Moms for America event in Washington.
“Hitler was right about one thing. He said, “He who has youth has the future,” Miller said during the rally, just two days after he was sworn in as a member of the House, prompting her to resign on social media and from Democrats.
Miller later issued a statement expressing remorse for quoting the Nazi leader.
“I sincerely apologize for any harm caused by my words, and I regret using a reference to one of the worst dictators in history to illustrate the dangers that external influences can have on our young people,” she said.
