Megan Markle, Prince Harry’s return to the UK “really meant for the Queen”: Insider

Megan Markle and Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom only to reunite with the Queen, says an insider.

The sole purpose of the return of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was to pay homage to Her Majesty without participating as working royalty.

“They were really here to see the queen,” and “paid their respects and returned home,” adding that the Sussex are no longer royal members.

The insider told People magazine: “They are not part of [working] The royal family already and this is a decision they made – but maybe [the public] has not yet accepted this.

“Yes, they were restrained.

“They paid tribute and went home.

“They really were here to see the queen and they did.”

Megan and Harry left the lake in 2020, moving to the United States with their son Archie. The couple later welcomed daughter Lilibet Diana in 2021.
