Sources confirmed Saturday that the body of 5-year-old Frank Young has been found.
Emergency Response Coordinator for Red Earth Cree Nation Allistair Nawakayas confirmed the search for Young has ended.

No details have been released about where Young was found.
Global News has reached out to the RCMP in Saskatchewan but has yet to hear back.
Young went missing on April 19 near his home on the Red Earth Cree Nation, more than 200 kilometers east of Prince Albert, Sask.

Widespread search efforts have since continued. At the last update on June 21, the search covered approximately 92 square kilometers with 611 searchers.

At the time, Saskatchewan RCMP tactical support was beginning a “thorough, targeted search” of the riverbanks as water levels had receded since the last effort.
“Frank loved to play outside with the neighborhood kids,” said Frank’s grandmother, Theresa Whitecap. “He was creative. He loved to entertain… Frank took pride in doing things for his caregiver, Barb. He was so proud of the things he did for her.
“The day Frank went missing, everyone acted immediately,” Whitecap said. “From the first day Frank went missing, we (became) a family. My family is very strong … we come together as one.”
The Greater Prince Albert Council as well as local child and family service organizations provide mental health support for families.
