The father of an 11-year-old boy from Ontario who went missing on Sunday said his son “could be hiding anywhere” as police step up their search efforts.
Draven Graham, who lives with autism, was last seen Sunday at about 3pm at his home on Queen Street in Lindsay, Ont.
He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and dark jogging pants, no shoes, and a white tablet. He is described as four feet tall and 10 inches tall.
Speaking to reporters at the Cavarta Lakes Police Department on Monday morning, Sergeant. Deb Hagarty said there was no indication that Draven had been abducted.
She said he had been seen walking north on Colborne Street East, near Rivera Park, since he disappeared.
Draven’s father, Justin Graham, told CTV News Toronto that his son had slipped out of the house while shaving in the bathroom on Sunday morning.
“He was not on the couch where he was before I went in,” he said. I asked my daughter if she was in her room and she said no.
He said he then went to the front door, but noticed it was unlocked.
“As I ran through the door, I noticed it was unlocked and I had another latch on top, so he was able to put it all together to open the door.”
Police from several jurisdictions, including the OPP, along with volunteers searched overnight for Draven, who has limited verbal skills and severe irritation when touched.

Searchers stay on foot and by boat. They also use drones, helicopters and police dogs.
“He could be under something, he could be in something, he could be in a back trailer, he could be hiding anywhere,” Graham said.
Since then, some of Draven’s clothes have been found in the area where he disappeared. Graham said he suspected that because it was raining, his son got wet, which he didn’t like, and took off his clothes.
“He doesn’t like to get wet on his clothes, most children with autism don’t like that,” he said.
Police are also asking everyone with video surveillance in the area to contact them. People in the area have also been asked to search their properties for Draven.
Anyone who may have seen Draven Graham has been asked to call Cavarta Lakes Police at 705-324-5252.
