Murdered NYC bodega shooter threatens anyone who messes with ‘my girls’ in video

The ex-con killed after attacking a Manhattan bottle clerk had posted a video online weeks earlier threatening anyone who messed with “my girls,” The Post has learned.

The 8-second clip on Austin Simon’s Instagram account shows a little girl curling her hair while the computerized narration says: “Come to me, you can get away.

“But if you touch her, I promise I’m the last thing you’ll see before you talk to God,” adds the narrator.

Text added to the April 28 video reads: “Going clean for the one with np” — shorthand for “no problem” — and the hashtags “#MyBabyGirl” and “#BeautifulKaliyah.”

“Not playing with my girls,” Simon wrote in a caption, using the online moniker “handsome_millzy.”

The child’s identity was not clear Tuesday.

Simon, 35, was fatally stabbed at the Blue Moon convenience store at 3422 Broadway just after 11 p.m. on July 1 after his girlfriend allegedly accused the clerk of grabbing a bag of chips from her 10-year-old daughter’s hand , when the girlfriend’s food stamps debit card was declined as payment.

Simon stormed behind the camera and was caught on surveillance video shoving Jose Alba, 61, against a wall of merchandise and trying to lead him away before the older man fought back and stabbed Simon in the neck.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was criticized for filing second-degree murder charges against Alba, with Mayor Eric Adams and other city officials saying Alba appeared to have acted in self-defense.

On Tuesday, members of United Bodegas of America held a closed-door meeting with Bragg, during which the embattled prosecutor’s office said it was still investigating and may drop the case against Alba, according to the group’s spokesman.

Simon wrote “I don’t play with my girls” in the video’s caption.@handsome_millzy Simon was fatally stabbed after confronting Jose Alba at a bar in Manhattan.

“I asked, ‘Is there any possibility of you withdrawing these charges?’ And he said, ‘Absolutely,'” spokesman Fernando Mateo said.

A Bragg representative later said the meeting was “focused on how to keep bodega owners and workers safe,” adding, “We welcomed the opportunity to discuss how we can work together to promote safety on our streets and on our jobs and we look forward to continuing these conversations.”
