Mystikal is accused of rape again in Louisiana … and he’s back behind bars after an arrest over the weekend.
A representative with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ … the rapper was arrested and processed Sunday on charges of first-degree rape, as well as charges related to domestic violence, battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and property damage. .
We’re told no bond has been set and he has yet to see a judge. As for what allegedly happened to spur this latest arrest… The Sheriff’s Office says their deputies responded to a hospital for a reported sexual assault and interviewed the alleged victim themselves.
Based on that interview and the obvious minor injuries the cops say this guy sustained…they think there’s enough there to go get Mystikal and handcuff him. The investigation continues.
By the way, Mystikal has faced similar accusations in the past – including somewhat recently. You may remember…he was accused of rape in the same state in 2017, but dropped the case when the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.
He was also accused of sexual assault in 2003, to which he pleaded guilty and served 6 years in prison. We’ve reached out to his representatives for comment, but have yet to hear back.
