Archibald will also not be eligible to attend the annual general meeting and the chief’s meeting in early July, according to AFN.
“It is unfortunate that we had to take these difficult steps, but we had no choice. The National Chief has committed serious breaches of his obligations to the AFN through unwarranted and unwarranted public attacks on the integrity of our organization and our employees, which will only undermine the good work we do as we continue to serve our communities of first nations. ” said regional chief Paul Prosper, a spokesman for AFN.
On June 16, Archibald issued a public statement calling for a forensic audit and independent investigation into the alleged corruption and “toxicity” of the assembly.

On June 17, Archibald made another public statement, saying he “will not give up his attempt to shed light on what she sees as corruption and a secret agreement within the FSA.”

It also publicly enforced the above-mentioned complaint from whistleblowers for senior officials in the AFN Secretariat.
The complaint describes three staff members who are said to be planning to take a break after Archibald’s speech in May, although other officials are “optimistic” after hearing them. It is alleged that the three employees also tried to persuade other employees to join them and had previously written a request for leave.
