Game presented Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

Boston’s three wins in the Eastern Conference finals total 58 points. Their 13-point victory in Game 5 came despite a relatively weak offensive performance. It’s hard to win a double-digit number when you make 15 turns and barely shoot 30 percent behind the arc, but Boston’s defense and Miami’s injuries give the Celtics more than enough leeway to do so. At the moment, the Heat are just too smashed to score against such a good defense. Get ready to watch the Celtics win the Eastern Conference on Friday. The choice: Celtics -8.5

The last two games have an average of less than 180 combined points per game. Boston can still score at a somewhat respectful rate, but where should Miami’s points come from? Jimmy Butler can’t handle Boston’s big men, and as such the Celtics hardly keep him on the perimeter. Kyle Lowry shot 5 of 23 in the series. Tyler Hero is battling a groin injury that usually requires weeks of rest. If you expect Heat to score in this series, you are essentially expecting the bad shooters to make the shots Boston gives them. Otherwise? Expect another rock battle. Choice: Under 201

Robert Williams III returned to the Celtics for match 3 of their first round series against the Nets. He was limited in minutes in this series, so he blocked only one shot in the two games he played against Brooklyn. He has played in seven games since then. He blocked at least two shots in each. Keep riding this wave until it breaks. Choice: Williams over 1.5 blocks
