Police closed a number of major roads and streets in central Nottingham after a series of attacks during the night. Police were called for the first time on Milton Street around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, June 26, to report that a man had been attacked.
Two more men were found who had been attacked in the city and taken to hospital shortly afterwards. As investigations continue, police have confirmed that there will be road closures on Milton Street, the Upper Parliament, Clumber Street and Clinton Street.
At this stage, the injuries of the three men are not considered life-threatening or life-changing. Nottinghamshire Police Chief Inspector Paul Hennessy said: “A police cordon is currently being laid across several adjacent streets in central Nottingham.

“The stage is expected to stay in place for a few hours, so we would recommend people to avoid trying to travel through this area for now. We appreciate the continuing patience of the public as we investigate this serious incident. “
