Odds, selection and predictions tonight Avalanche vs Oilers

Colorado Avelanche are one win since returning to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time since 2001. Given the season and a lot of work to do, we don’t like Edmonton Oilers’ chances, but that doesn’t mean it will be low evaluation.

Colorado Avelanch are on the verge of their first appearance in the Stanley Cup final since 2001, after jumping 3-0 in the Western Conference final over the Edmonton Oilers. They will try to complete the clearing of Rogers Place in Game 4 tonight.

Avalanche vs Oilers Game 4 choices and predictions

Our side and total predictions are based on our analysis of the line and the total amount in this game. Our best bet is our favorite choice in all markets.

Monetary line analysis

Avalanche should not waste time in the elimination of the Oilers and make their way to the Stanley Cup final.

Avs have won each of their last six games on the road, including a 4-2 triumph on Saturday night in Edmonton. They have set a 6-1 record against the Oilers in their last seven games.

Colorado, as usual, has contributions up and down the list, with five players scoring at least four points in this series alone. Miko Rantanen was at the forefront of Avs’ attack, scoring a goal in each of the first three games of the Western Conference final, adding two assists for a good measure.

Avalanche’s defense also played an important role in giving his team a 3-0 lead. After conceding six goals in Game 1, Colorado conceded just two in games 2 and 3. Pavel Francoz effectively released the injured Darcy Kumper into the net for Colorado, recording 24 saves in Game 2 and conceding just two goals in 29 shots in Game 3.

Trend bettors shouldn’t be afraid to hit their Avs wagon on Monday, as the betting favorite has won each of the last nine matches between the two teams. In addition, the Oilers are 20-43 in their last 63 games as an outsider at home.

Covers NHL betting analysis

Over / Under analysis

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have been kept under control by the Colorado defense for the last six periods of the game, but each is due to drastically improved efforts in Game 4. This should lead to the overall result of the game quite easily.

McDavid scored a goal and two assists in Match 1, then recorded just one goal and no assists in Match 2 and 3 combined. The Oilers captain is the current NHL leader in points after the season with 30, so it would be a slight surprise if he doesn’t record a few points game with Edmonton’s season online.

Draisaitl played six goalless games dating back to his team’s Calgary Flames series. After scoring two assists in Match 1 against Avalanche, he was sent off for two straight games. This also seems to be due to a change in Game 4.

Oilers goalkeeper Mike Smith and his defense, meanwhile, have not shown the ability to hold Nathan McKinnon and Co. Smith has a 5.39 GAA and 0.879 percent rescue through three games.

The Over is 4-1 in the last five playoff games for the Oilers as an outsider and 17-8 in their last 25 home games. The total has been surpassed in four of Avs’ last five games.

Prediction: Over 6.5 (-135 in WynnBET)

The best bet

Bettors should expect McDavid and Draisaitl to return to Game 4, but that doesn’t mean it will be enough to overcome Colorado’s powerful attack.

MacKinnon and Cale Makar are leading Avs in scoring goals this postseason, generating 17 points each. Rantanen scored 16 points and captain Gabriel Landeskog has 14, tying fourth with Nazem Kadri.

Although Kadri was ruled out for the rest of the series due to an upper body injury, Edmonton lost to Evander Kane due to a one-match suspension due to the upload penalty that caused the injury.

Colorado is clearly the more balanced team, as their attack never allows the Oilers to breathe. They have to seal the cleaning on Monday night.

Choice: Over 6.5 (-135 in WynnBET)
