RCMP and IHIT are investigating a shooting that left one person dead in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Friday morning.
Two people were shot and a woman died from her gunshot wounds, according to police.

“Upon arrival, police found a woman and a man suffering from gunshot wounds and were transported to a hospital by BC EMS,” Cpl. said Julie Klausner.

“The man suffered non-life threatening injuries but the woman has since died from her injuries.”
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the investigation.
Investigators said they do not believe the shooting was a random incident.
