Speaking at his usual media briefing on Friday, Guardiola said: “Calvin has some problems and he won’t be able [to play]. Cole Palmer has had knocks on his legs in recent days and is a doubt for tomorrow.”

Newly promoted Bournemouth kicked off the season with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa last week and Pep expects the Cherries to be a tough proposition this weekend.
“When they’re promoted, the first few games are so dangerous,” he said.
“They don’t feel pressure, they still feel good from the previous season, they have nothing to lose.
“After one, two, three months, all teams have injury problems. Bad moments, mood in the dressing room – these things always happen. But in the first few games, every team is there, demanding to do better.”
