PlayStation State of Play June 2022: Everything has been announced, including Final Fantasy 16 and Resident Evil 4 Remake

The latest PlayStation State of Play has arrived and did not disappoint. From the new look and release window of Final Fantasy 16 to the long-awaited unveiling of Resident Evil 4 Remake to the release date of Stray, there was a wide range of games included in this show.

Final Fantasy 16 will be officially released in the summer of 2023

The latest trailer for Final Fantasy 16 has finally arrived and was filled with gameplay and some of our favorite prizes (Eikons in FF16) from the history of Final Fantasy, including Phoenix, Titan, Garuda, Ramuh, Shiva, Odin, Bahamut and Ifrit .

The protagonist of Final Fantasy 16 Clive Rosfield was also featured in this trailer for “Domination” and he showed how he and his team will face the many enemies that will undoubtedly hinder you in the history of the game.

He also revealed that Final Fantasy 16 will be released on PS5 in the summer of 2023. The game can now be played from start to finish and the team is using all this time to polish the game as best as possible.

Officially announced remake of Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 Remake is officially on its way and will be released on March 24, 2023. Capcom seeks to rethink “the history of the game, while preserving the essence of its direction, modernizing the graphics and updating the controls to a modern standard.”

PSVR2 owners will also be able to expect some kind of VR content, although no further details have been given.

Resident Evil Village receives VR treatment

Resident Evil Village will soon allow players to visit its world in a whole new way, as it will be available for PlayStation VR 2. And yes, it will be the full campaign, which means you’ll have to experience [redacted] in VR.

VR will also allow players to protect themselves by actually raising their hands and allow them to use different weapons in each hand for even more combat capabilities.

The first gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6 was shown along with a release window in 2023.
