Mounties investigate a homicide in downtown Duncan.
An RCMP spokesperson confirmed to CHEK News that the incident, which occurred in an area outside the Service Canada Center building on Jubilee Street, is a homicide.
The spokesman declined to provide further information but said there was no risk to the public.
On Saturday morning, scores of police were seen in the area and cordoned off parts of Jubilee Street and Kenneth Street near Government Street.

A witness told CHEK News they heard sirens around 3 a.m. Saturday and that multiple police cars were around around 6 a.m. Another witness described seeing “a lot of blood” on the pavement in Jubilee Street.
