Toronto police are investigating a series of armed robberies at night in fast food restaurants and a downtown store.

The first robbery took place in the area of ​​Yonge and Front streets shortly before 9 pm on Friday.

Police said a man entered a fast food restaurant with a blunt weapon and took money from the register. He then fled the scene.

The second robbery took place shortly after 4:30 a.m. Saturday on the Quinn and Beverly streets.

The suspect entered a fast food restaurant with a blunt object and waved it, police said.

He demanded money from everyone and then ran away from the store.

Shortly before 5 a.m., police received a report of a third incident on Bathurst and Dundas streets.

The last reported robbery took place at 5:13 a.m. in the area of ​​Dundas Street West and Manning Avenue.
