Police were in the park all day on Saturday
One woman said, “It’s so awful. Poor woman and so terrible for her family and friends. I live two minutes from the park and I’m shocked to hear that.
“It’s awful, it just shows you that it doesn’t matter what area of life you come from or where you live, that it’s happening right under your nose. The heart is breaking. ”
Emergency services were called at 9.49pm on Friday night to signal that a woman was unconscious in the park. She was pronounced dead when the ambulance crews arrived.
Anyone with information about the incident was asked to report online or call 101, citing Operation Ranworth.
